For many people in the LGBTQIA+ community, ‘home’ isn’t exactly welcoming.

Because of this, queer establishments like bars have become safe spaces for love and acceptance within the community. They are more than just fun escapes, but places where they find their chosen families. And in states where anti-LGBTQIA+ laws are being passed, safe spaces are needed more than ever today.

So for Pride, bubly partnered with the Stonewall Gives Back Initiative to celebrate chosen families and support queer establishments and queer-owned small businesses by providing grants to keep them thriving and alive.

The safe spaces receiving grants from bubly include The Apartment Lounge of Grand Rapids, Michigan, InCahoots Nightclub of Jacksonville, Florida, Boycott Bar of Phoenix, Arizona and South Press Coffee of Knoxville, Tennessee.

We launched the brand action with a film that celebrates chosen families starring all queer talents in front and behind the camera.
